Pirolisi
Pyrolysis is a thermochemical process used to decompose materials by means of heat in the absence of oxidazing agents, namely oxygen. The process takes place by heating up the material, thus triggering a molecular disaggregation process which splits the original chemical bonds of the materials introduced, bringing them back to a simpler molecular state.

The plant projected and realized by MEGALID is technologically innovative and bases its functioning on the “catalytic thermolysis at medium temperature” producing the split of complex organic molecules and obtaining as a final result, more than a gaseous mixture of hydrocarbons that will self-feed the plant but also a solid carbon mass with characteristics like carbon coke in the full observance of the of the current disposition in matter of environmental safeguard.
